Dana has over 15 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and data analysis. She has expertise in leveraging data and analysis to unlock opportunities, inform decisions, simplify objectives, and drive positive outcomes. Dana is known as a collaborative partner who excels at process improvement, financial and merchandise planning, strategy, and execution while delivering results and stakeholder value.
Dana’s background includes senior roles in planning and forecasting for industry leading retailers. At Macy’s, Inc., Dana was responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of the localization merchandising strategy for the Midwest. While at Nordstrom, Dana pioneered the testing, iteration, and rollout of a forecasting and allocation system adopted for all Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores. She also developed a division-wide private label financial strategy as well as the divisional strategy for the company’s expansion into the Canada market.
Dana holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Minnesota. She also holds a Google Project Manager Professional certification as well as a Yellow Belt certification from the Kaizen Institute.
Dana is a health and wellness enthusiast. As a self-proclaimed data junkie she is routinely testing the latest bio-hacking gadget aimed at optimal health and longevity. She and her husband enjoy traveling the west coast watching their son play lacrosse.
