Profile

Daniel is an innovator in B2B Payments with expert knowledge in product launches, supply chain finance, credit & ACH risk management, AP automation, commercial cards, and airlines.  He brings 25 years of global experience in US (SF & NY), Europe (London & Paris) and Asia (Singapore) across large corporates and consulting firms.  He has led highly driven and entrepreneurial teams within large organizations to execute key deliverables as well as manage multi billion-dollar portfolios.

Professional Background

Daniel most recently worked at American Express as the Vice President responsible for Supplier Payments and Financing products, launching two new products and managing Amex’s largest B2B product ($30B in annual volumes).  Prior, Daniel was the Chief Risk Officer for Amex’s B2B products in Europe during the recession. Before Amex, Daniel has different roles at multiple companies, including working for McKinsey & Co as an Engagement Manager.

Education

Daniel holds an MBA from INSEAD, and a BS and Masters of Engineering in operations research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in econometrics and organizational behavior.  He has a BA in mathematics from Harvard College.

Daniel is focused on continuing to become a B2B Payments expert with the ultimate goal of helping small businesses thrive – he leads a LinkedIn group of >55K finance professionals.  Beyond that, Daniel loves to play tennis and spend time with his two teenage sons.
