Will is a seasoned and accomplished operator with over 25 years of global experience across financial services, asset management, and software development, he has led diverse project portfolios and enterprise-wide initiatives. He specializes in process transformation, system consolidation, and turning around underperforming teams. His work spans the full spectrum of financial services, including portfolio management, trading, operations, fund accounting, data management, corporate actions, settlements, legal, risk, compliance, software development, infrastructure, vendor management, and more.
Professional Background
Will spent 17 years at Barclays Global Investors and BlackRock, holding a variety of roles across business processes and organizational functions. He then served as Managing Director at Mellon Capital Management, overseeing data management, vendor management, corporate actions, and operations. Following that, Will took on the role of CIO at a high-frequency/algorithmic trading firm in Chicago, where he managed infrastructure, technology, and information security, among other areas. More recently, he contributed to EY’s Global Tax Platform program management team and was part of the Digital Product Transformation team at TIAA.
Education
Will has a BA in Business and Government from the University of Notre Dame. He attended management training at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has extensive experience in waterfall and agile SDLCs, including 3 SAFe certifications.
