John is a senior technology and architecture executive with 20+ years of experience translating strategy into scalable, durable outcomes. He partners with executive teams to lead complex, enterprise-wide transformations across modernization, operating model redesign, cloud evolution, and technology-enabled growth—bridging business ambition with architectural clarity to drive confident execution.

Known for bringing structure to complexity, John aligns people, process, and technology to build resilient, measurable systems. He has led global programs across financial services, healthcare, insurance, consumer goods, and the public sector, stabilizing critical platforms and modernizing legacy environments to unlock long-term value.

He also brings deep M&A experience, leading technical due diligence, TSA exits, and integration and separation architecture for private equity–backed and Fortune-scale organizations. As a portfolio CIO/CTO, he has rebuilt technology foundations, reduced operational risk, and positioned companies for sustainable growth.

Professional Background

Prior, John served as a CIO/CTO for private‑equity‑backed companies, where he stabilized fragile environments, modernized infrastructure, enabled SOC 2 readiness, and led M&A due diligence across opportunities. He has rebuilt technology organizations, eliminated single points of failure, and delivered the architectural foundations required for scale and operational resilience. Before that, he led architecture functions for global financial institutions, insurance, banking, health care and automotive verticals.

Education

John holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Dayton and a BBA in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati.

Furthermore

John is a builder at heart. With that being stated he also loves building architecture and construction and saved a Queen Anne home that was on the demolition list. He also enjoys exploring new cities, hiking, the arts and spending time with his family.
