He brings an excellent record of accomplishment as a “finisher” of initiatives aligned with strategy, achieving excellent results across functional areas of transformation assessment, strategy development, program management, M&A implementations, and system migrations.

Professional Background

During the most recent 10 years, John was a PMO Director at Cognizant and held a delivery leadership position at Object Computing, Inc. with a focus on open-source software development and cloud engineering. He began his career in telecom engineering and progressed to lead and grow successful teams and organizations.  John has held roles that include IT/PMO leadership, front-line manager, regulator/management auditor, management consultant, educator, and entrepreneur.

Education

John earned an MBA from St. Louis University and a B.S. in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science & Technology. He has certifications as both a scrum master and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Consultant.

Furthermore

John and his wife are recent “empty nesters” after raising six children but never have an empty day. Beyond career, he enjoys his role as an associate professor at Webster University’s Walker School of Business and relaxes in the garden, on a kayak, on his motorcycle, or on the road to U.S. National Parks (27 and counting).
