Profile

Sherry has 20 years of financial services experience and deep expertise in the acquiring and issuing space and is the founder of ePAY Consulting Services. She has advised premier companies across the payments ecosystem, including payments service providers, major card networks, financial institutions, and merchants in a variety of industries (e.g., airlines, hospitality, retail, and technology). Sherry brings practical cross-industry knowledge and structure to help her clients clarify purpose, validate opportunities, and prioritize for big wins. She is a proven expert at developing strategies with actionable roadmaps (e.g., vertical market growth, revenue optimization, product strategy, customer experience), assessing and mitigating risks, and streamlining processes and back-office automation to help improve productivity and organizational effectiveness.

Professional Background

Prior to launching ePAY in 2012, Sherry worked for PwC as a consultant and subject matter specialist for the Payments Advisory practice. She also worked at First Data in a variety of roles including risk management, finance, and products.  There she helped develop and execute the first concept of risk-based pricing in merchant acquiring. Sherry is an active events committee member of NYPAY.org, a NY based payments thought leadership organization.

Education

Sherry holds an MBA from Long Island University and B.S. in Finance from St. John’s University.

Furthermore

Sherry enjoys painting on canvases, doing interior designs, and running an Airbnb rental in the Caribbean where she quickly made and maintained Superhost status. Practicing yoga and keeping up with her young adult kids brings joy to her life.
