Dave is a hands-on leader known for transforming business operations through strategic applications of technology. Over 30 years’ experience designing coordinated business and technology change using design thinking, strategic planning and enterprise architecture techniques. Keen focus on team-building and mentoring allowing clients to be self-sufficient. Recognized academic foundation demonstrated in roles as adjunct professor for Enterprise Architecture and public speaking/writing on EA.
Dave was a partner and Chief Enterprise Architect for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Diamond Management Consultants. Dave was also the first Chief Enterprise Architect for Ascension Technologies, the information technology arm of Ascension, one of the leading non-profit health organizations in the United States. For both organizations David pioneered the use of business architecture and business capability models to deliver strategies that align business and technology. David has applied these approaches across many projects including strategy, operational effectiveness, IT efficiency, as well as EA operations improvement.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Dave lives in Georgetown, Texas and is an avid traveler, foodie, and photographer. During the pandemic he has managed to combine some of these into socially distanced trips to Big Bend National Park to practice astrophotography.
