Dennis is a seasoned technology executive focused on infrastructure and architecture (CTO/CIO Profile). He knows well the process, the resource requirements, and the level of investment essential to successfully manage infrastructure within large financial institutions. He is at his best when solving complex problems and creating energy within his team to solution the problems, build a business case, and execute against that plan. Dennis has done this numerous times throughout his career, whether it was with outsourcing, insourcing, cloud migration and big data situations to name a few.
His most recent role was as the CTO of a services company. Not only was Dennis implementing a digitization strategy for the company but also running all IT services teams. Prior to that role he was a VP of Infrastructure and Planning at CIBC supporting all bank products within the technology organization. Dennis started his career at Nortel where he grew his career into a Chief Portfolio Architect supporting the delivery of networking equipment to Telcos and private enterprises.
Dennis likes to play competitive golf even though his best game is leaving him. He has competed in provincial and club competitions.
