Professional Background
Previously, Farhat served as Senior Director, Data & AI Strategy at Gartner Consulting, she advised C-suite leaders on enterprise data and AI strategy, governance, and operating models—leading AI readiness assessments, roadmap development, and governance design to enable responsible, scalable AI adoption. As a Practice Area Lead for Data & Analytics at Slalom, she built and scaled a high-performing practice and led large-scale data modernization and analytics transformations. Earlier roles at KPMG and Diamond Management and Technology Consultants focused on public sector modernization and enterprise data strategy.
In industry leadership roles, she led enterprise data strategy and governance programs, including serving as Data Management Lead for a $40M SAP implementation. Across her career, she has bridged business strategy, technology, and governance to deliver durable enterprise data and AI capabilities.
Education
Farhat holds a BSc in Chemistry from Cardiff University, a MSc in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Metabolism from Loughborough University, an MSc in Information Technology from Aston University, an MBA in Business Administration from Leicester University and is currently working on her MA, in Artificial Intelligence from University of Southampton. She is a certified PMP and Scrum Master.
