She has extensive experience building growth strategies, operating models, digital products, and digital marketing pilots for industry-leading firms, primarily in travel and leisure sectors and for major customer loyalty programs. Irene excels at wrangling cross-functional teams to spearhead complex, often enterprise-wide, programs to address priority challenges and build sustainable operating plans.
Professional Background
Prior, Irene was the Vice President of Marketing Operations at Major League Baseball, where she established the new function and built foundations for the department’s growth. She also served as the Vice President of Internal Consulting supporting Global Marketing at Marriott; during her tenure, she led the program that launched Marriott Bonvoy and combined three major loyalty programs. As a management consultant, Irene supported the development of Under Armour’s UA Rewards program and personalization capabilities. Irene spent over a decade at PwC working primarily with travel, industrial manufacturing, and professional services clients on new product development, operating model redesign, and customer-centric strategies, as well as launching the “Heart” branding for Southwest Airlines. Irene also has experience with marketing agencies, publishing, and communications.
Education
Irene holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business and an MSI from the School of Information at the University of Michigan. She also has a BA in chemistry and history from Amherst College.

Despite living in the Northeast Corridor for most of her life, Irene’s soul finds a home in Italy where the landscapes, mindset, and gastronomy (especially the wine) are her happy place. Her global spirit also finds joy in Bollywood music/movies, Islamic art and architecture, and general exploration.
