Jaramogi is a global operations executive with over 20 years of experience turning around organizations and improving performance by influencing talent in the Financial Services industry. His international experience consists of time spent in New Delhi, London, Singapore and Sydney working in Controllership, Treasury, Consumer and Corporate Payments. He has expertise in strategic planning and design thinking with an emphasis on building cross-functional teams to execute on roadmapped priorities. Jaramogi is a people-first leader whose core strengths of listening and peripheral vision drive cohesive strategies that make the client feel heard, valued and therefore increases the likelihood of adoption.
Prior, Jaramogi was a Technology Chief of Staff with American Express, where he helped change manage several internal organizations consisting of product and engineering teams. He began his career in Corporate Finance moving from Financial Planning & Analysis to leading global transformational projects across several lines of business including payments, bank and travel.
Jaramogi holds an M.S. in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Duke University with a double major in International Studies, African-American Studies and a minor in Japanese language.
Jaramogi’s first name is Ki-Swahili and means “one who travels often.” His journey through life has been an attempt to self-fulfill his name’s prophesy, visiting over 30 countries and 36 US States. He’s been to 6 continents with a trip to Antarctica planned for 2023.
