Profile

Magnus has over 30 years of experience from senior commercial positions (sales, marketing & product), both strategic and operational, B2C, B2G & B2B, with a proven track record working for start-ups as well as multinationals. His experience spans from leading roles and projects in Strategy & Operations, Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship, Digital & Business Transformation, Innovation Mgmt., Market Entry/GTM (China and USA), M&A, Funding & Investments, and Leadership & People. In recent years, his focus has been on commercial growth and turn-arounds in B2B companies, specializing in developing sales and marketing capabilities, and in implementing design thinking methodology in business and product development projects in B2B as well as B2C companies.

Professional Background

Magnus is concurrently running his own business consultancy firm and is a Partner at Megadeals, advising on complex enterprise B2B sales. Previously he was the Chief Commercial Officer at the digital agency Daresay. Before that he has experience from a number of leading commercial roles at BSkyB, Regal Scandinavia, Vodafone (and several other telcos), where he has held roles such as Managing Director, Senior Commercial Manager, and Director of Marketing and Products.

Education

Magnus holds a Bachelor’s in Financial Management from Gothenburg School of Economics and holds a Military Police commission in The Swedish Army, Royal Lifeguards.

Furthermore

Magnus has a huge musical interest and has made over 1000 live performances in Europe and Asia. He also has an interest in food and wine and was formally the Bailli (chairman of the board) for Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in Stockholm.
