Naufal has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry managing global, multi-year, and cross functional/divisional initiatives, as well as large onshore, near onshore and offshore teams. He has in-depth understanding of Foreign Exchange (FX) and Capital Markets, including trading desks, middle office, market and credit risk, product management, back-office technology, regulatory & compliance, and operations functions. Naufal has a deep working knowledge of contract law, procurement & vendor management processes, and negotiations. He has the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and influence a wide range of audiences, including C level executives. Additionally, Naufal, has extensive technical background across broad range of technologies, applications, and service platforms.
Professional Background
Previously, Naufal served as the Global Head of FX at TD Bank in Toronto. He was also an Executive Director at S&P Global where he managed a $1B+ program to deliver a cloud transformation and company-wide integration with IHS Markit. Prior to that he worked at various investment banks (9 years at Merrill Lynch) building and managing Trade Capture, Risk, PnL, and Regulatory Systems for multiple asset classes, including credit derivatives, interest rates derivatives, foreign exchange, and base metals.
Education
Naufal has a MS (Management Information Systems) and MBA (Finance and Global Mgmt.) from Babson College, as well as a LLM (Corporate Law) from the University of Toronto.
