Profile

Phil has over 25 years of experience helping organizations benefit from data driven decision making.  He has been engaged on high-value projects for Fortune-ranked clients spanning over a dozen industries including insurance, pharmacy, consumer electronics, and telecommunications. He has helped his clients realize the value of their data assets through IT strategy, advanced analytics, BI, and governance initiatives.

Professional Background

Phil was a consultant manager at Slalom, where among other roles he created and led the firm’s first-ever Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence.  Prior to that, he was a consultant at Diamond Technology Partners (later PwC) where he worked on strategic IT projects for top tier firms.  Phil started his career as a consultant and instructor at Oracle, building data warehouses and business applications for clients.

Education

Phil holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in econometrics and organizational behavior.  He has a BA in mathematics from Harvard College.

Furthermore

Phil enjoys serving on the Board of Directors for Plant Chicago, a non-profit organization that cultivates local circular economies, with particular emphasis on underserved communities such as the Back of the Yards.
