Rick recently worked as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Global Sourcing and Procurement in the banking and financial services, technology distribution and professional services industries. As Chief Risk Officer, Rick transformed risk and compliance cultures, performed risk assessments, and ensured robust governance and controls. He developed Enterprise Risk Management (ERMG) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) programs, managed insurance and policy governance, and created a “Know Your Customer” (KYC) tool for consistent risk ratings. Additionally, in his Sourcing and Procurement role, Rick led global sourcing initiatives, establishing shared services in Romania, India, and Costa Rica, thereby improving outsourced operations governance and over-sight.
Education
Rick earned a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Virginia and completed the Advanced Executive/General Manager Program from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of San Francisco.

Rick, a retired Army Airborne and Ranger-qualified Infantry officer, enjoys time with his family and grandchildren. A big fan of New York Yankees baseball and Ohio State football, he’s working on getting back into running shape with hopes of running the Boston Marathon again. Rick and his wife Terry love traveling internationally.
