Ron’s background is a unique blend of deep technical skills, technical strategy, process improvement and operations. His skills allow him to translate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Typical project engagements span enterprise architecture, technical diligence for private equity, strategic planning and interim Chief Technology Officer roles. In recent years Ron has focused on credit, debit and pre-loaded card processor transactions. This includes financial reconciliation, fraud detection, analytics and preparation for PCI audits.
Professional Background
Prior to Further Advisory, Ron has held a wide-variety of roles such as Consultant, Infrastructure Operations for British Intelligence (GCHQ), Executive Coach, and multiple full-time and interim CTO roles – most notably for a division of American Express. Ron has worked across many verticals within both Fortune 500 companies and PE/VC backed start-ups. Primary focus include Fintech and healthcare.

Ron has a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from the University of Missouri.

Ron teaches and performs jazz guitar in a St. Louis based trio. He is also an obsessive hands-on tinkerer in home automation, robotics, and IoT.
