Samuel offers over a decade of experience in finance, strategy, and business development both as an operator and investor in early and growth stage companies – particularly in B2B platforms, e-commerce, mobile payments, and mobile commerce markets. He has expertise in developing the strategic plans for new products, which are planned for use by millions of users. Samuel also brings a mindset that pairs a metric-driven framework with a wide knowledge of the market’s bourgeoning products to guide a clients’ planning process and increase the likelihood of project success.
Samuel is also a General Partner at BNM Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Prior, Samuel was a Vice President at Ruton Capital, a $1B growth and private equity firm, after seven years as a business development, product, and finance executive at SeatGeek and at KAYAK. He began his career at Lehman Brothers, focusing on real estate.
Samuel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
Outside of a professional setting, Sam is often found cooking, making wine, or playing golf — though only one of them he does well.
