Professional Background
Over the last 5 years, Smith has focused on fintech as CPO of Acorns and Varo Bank in the US and Moneybox in the UK – companies that help democratize access to financial markets and systems, allowing everyone to participate in growing their wealth and gaining financial confidence. Prior to working in the fintech/neo-bank space, Smith ran the digital product consulting arm for Noise, a digital marketing agency in New York. Before Noise, he helped start Current TV, the global media network founded by Al Gore.
