Tina Selwyn is a seasoned corporate leader with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and seamless products.

Professional Background

Prior to Further, she spent 15 years working at financial services giants such as American Express, Citi, and U.S. Bank, where she learned industry best practices from some of the most respected brands in the world. At American Express, Tina spent a decade supporting more than 20 international markets and developing solutions that were pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective. In her last role at American Express, she was the Vice President of Marketing Excellence, with the mandate to define and implement a “customer-first” strategy that ensured every piece of marketing, regardless of country, supported the values of the American Express brand. At U.S. Bank, she was responsible for driving compelling, market-leading digital experiences for both partner and proprietary credit card customers.  In addition to Financial Services she has worked extensively across Consumer Goods Products and Subscription Services Industries.

Education

Tina holds an Economics degree from the University of North Texas, UX certification from General Assembly in New York City, is Six Sigma certified and is a trained Agile leader. She also has taught UX/CX at San Diego State University to continuing education students and served on the Advisory Board of CX at UC Irvine.

Furthermore

Tina has traveled to 40+ countries on all continents (other than Antarctica!) and dreamed of a late in life career as a trapeze artist. She lives by the beach with 2 cats, 2 dogs and her husband of 25 years.
